The House
A corridor is never the destination.
It quietly connects the places where life unfolds.
The kitchen, where tea is shared.
The dining room, where family gathers.
The living room, where conversations linger.
The study, where mornings begin slowly.
A corridor carries us through a home, but it also carries us through moments, memories and everyday rituals.
Maison Corridor was born from the belief that a home should tell the story of the people who live within it—not simply through decoration, but through the objects they choose to keep.
I have always been fascinated by the lives objects have lived before reaching us.
Every piece has passed through someone's hands.
Someone imagined it.
Someone shaped it.
Someone chose it for their home.
Someone cared for it long enough for its journey to continue.
Many of the people who created these objects are no longer here. Yet something they made with patience, skill and intention remains.
That thought stays with me.
To me, every object carries a small piece of human legacy.
When it finds a new home, its story is not finished.
It simply continues.
That is the kind of home I hope to celebrate.
One that feels collected rather than completed.
One where craftsmanship is appreciated.
Where beautiful objects are used, not hidden away.
Where conversations begin with:
"Where did you find this?"
And where every piece becomes part of another person's story.
Welcome to The House.
The objects we choose today become the memories we keep tomorrow.
Collected with intention. Meant to be kept.
