A sculptural pair of horse bookends, handcrafted in Mexico from beautifully banded onyx.

Natural layers of soft ivory, pale green, amber and muted rose move differently through each piece, making every side of the pair unique. The horses are simply carved, allowing the colour, translucency and natural movement of the stone to remain the focus.

Substantial enough to support a collection of books, they also work beautifully as decorative objects on a shelf, console or mantel.

One bookend retains its original label reading “HAND CRAFTED IN MEXICO.”
